Big Hill Events to host the Nemesis Marathon Challenge and 2010 Nemesis MTBA Australian MTB Marathon Championships in Avoca, Victoria on 18 April 2010

Big Hill Events are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 2010 Nemesis MTBA Australian MTB Marathon Championships. The Championships will be held on Sunday 18 April 2010 in the Pyrenees Mountain Range behind the town of Avoca in central Victoria. The Pyrenees offers some of Victoria’s best, and mostly untouched, riding and will be a great home for the event.

Riders will choose from 90km, 45km, 33km and 15km course distance options to ensure that the race appeals to elite riders, intermediate riders as well as those who are new to marathon mountain biking. The course will provide a good mix of fire road, 4wd tracks, double tracks and single track including the Pyrenees Endurance Walk trail which is being purposefully prepared for the event. This will be the very first time that mountain bikes will be allowed to ride the 18km Pyrenees Endurance Walk trail.

The first 100 entrants will also receive a pair of Big Hill Events socks which will be available for collection at race registration. Additional socks will be available for purchase on Entry Zone shortly along with race apparel.
