4. Chocolate Foot Series'

SRAM Singletrack Mind Enduro Series – More new venues, more singletrack adventures for 2012!

The Chocolate Foot team is proud to announce that the SRAM Singletrack Mind Series is set to hit the trails again for 2012. After a great series of racing in 2011, which saw entries grow by over 50%, Chocolate Foot have not been content to click it back a gear and have instead slammed it into the big ring! Announcing three new venues for this year’s Series!

The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series will kick off in the gourmet food and wine city of Orange where the trail fairies have been very busy and have a plethora of great trails to offer. In addition to this, the Series will visit the Southern Highlands Cycle Club's newly extended Welby track, and a venue that has a big buzz right now – Kowen Forest in the ACT.

2012 SRAM Singletrack Mind Series Venues

29 April: Kinross State Forest – Orange

24 June: Kowen Forest – Canberra

19 August: Coondoo Road – Nowra

18 September: Welby – Southern Highlands of NSW

28 October: Lidsdale State Forest – Rydal

25 November: Awaba Mountain Bike Park – Lower Hunter Valley

Along with the best venues secured through Chocolate Foot’s partnership with six thriving and proactive mountain bike clubs, the Series enjoys the support of the world’s finest bike component manufacturer – SRAM. This will be the 3rd year that SRAM, RockShox, Avid and Truvativ have supported the Series.

The Series also enjoys ongoing support from many other great sponsors including Lezyne accessories, Hammer Nutrition, Nzo clothing, Muc-Off cleaners and lubes, Kenda tyres, The Body Mechanic, Mountain Bike Australia magazine, Jimmy Jack Wines, and Aussie Butt Cream.

Castech Sports Technology has been instrumental to the success of the Series, with their instantaneous live to the web timing service. Competitors are able to check results during the race on the big screen, the results café or via wi-fi on their smart phone. With all the information readily available, it can be no surprise that the racing was so close and exciting right through the Series.

Entries will open in March for the entire Series and will host a wide range of categories to suit the avid racer right through to fun team categories for the weekend warrior, juniors or novice enduro competitor. Due to popular demand, a new category has been added – the 3 person team category will now include a Masters option. Chocolate Foot will again be offering their Serial Offenders deal where riders can save by signing up for the Series in advance.
